eskyiu was provided with a gallery of historically significant shoes by Ferragamo in their Florentine palazzo. An animation evolved, fashioned out of their unique collection of cultural objects: items worn by classic Hollywood icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, and Audrey Hepburn. A revised cultural legacy was produced out of the history of the Ferragamo brand, a narrative which featured items crafted by the ‘individual’ genius, Salvatore Ferragamo. The result formed a tightly woven animation with an architect’s sensibility which visually described the ingenuity of the cobbler’s workshop.
