MASIS 3D SOUND
An innovative audio showroom and interior project for MASIS.

ESKYIU worked closely with the client and owner of an innovative technology company to create a showroom for a bespoke audio service and updated it with a feature lobby entrance. The interior project incorporates technology created by the 3D3A Lab of Princeton University to provide revolutionary audio technology that brings out the full potential of Stereo recordings with truly immersive 3D Sound. The design concept uses soft pleated panels, special illumination levels and sound isolation panels customized to achieve the optimal needs of the client. The client has named the showroom “Venue X”, a dedicated room designed to demonstrate the power of BACCH® 3D Sound that can recreate the acoustic space of just about any concert hall or jazz club a recording was made in with uncanny realism. The room is designed to disappear sonically.

BACCH® 3D Sound is a recent breakthrough in audio technology (licensed by Princeton University blue-link-hi) that yields unprecedented spatial realism in loudspeakers-based audio playback allowing the listener to hear, through only two loudspeakers, a truly immersive 3D reproduction of a recorded soundfield with uncanny accuracy and details, and with a level of high tonal and spatial fidelity that is simply unapproachable by even the most expensive and advanced existing high-end audio systems. BACCH® stands for “Band-Assembled Crosstalk Cancellation Hierarchy,” a name that represents the mathematical filter design method and pays tribute to Prof. Choueiri‘s favorite composer, Johann Sebastian Bach. Professor Edgar Choueiri is the Inventor of BACCH®.
